The election day on May 17th for the Andalusian Parliament elections kicks off with the traditional voting ritual by the main candidates. The provinces of Málaga, Seville, and Cádiz will be the first stops for the contenders for the Presidency of the Junta.
The current president and candidate for re-election for the PP, Juanma Moreno, will exercise his right to vote at 10:30 AM at the Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Jesús in the city of Málaga, accompanied by his wife.
Meanwhile, the candidate for the Andalusian PSOE, María Jesús Montero, will vote half an hour later at the Colegio de Escuelas Profesionales Sagrada Familia Nuestra Señora de los Reyes, in Seville, a location near the Alameda de Hércules and the basilica of La Macarena.
Antonio Maíllo, the lead candidate for Por Andalucía, will be the earliest voter, attending at 10:00 AM the Colegio Salesiano Santísima Trinidad in Seville.
In the province of Cádiz, the candidates for Vox and Adelante Andalucía will also fulfill the voting ritual. Manuel Gavira (Vox) will do so at 11:30 AM at the Colegio San Vicente de Paúl in the capital of Cádiz, while José Ignacio García (Adelante Andalucía) will travel to Jerez de la Frontera to vote at Sala Paul at 10:30 AM, accompanied by his mother.
