Tuesday morning was marked by incidents on the Malaga Commuter network. Two services on line C-1, connecting Malaga Centre to Fuengirola, were canceled due to train breakdowns.
Specifically, a train departing from Malaga Centre at 07:30 towards Fuengirola and another in the opposite direction scheduled to depart at 08:20 could not complete their journeys. According to Cercanías Málaga, the cancellations are due to a "technical breakdown".
These cancellations have caused delays of at least 20 minutes for passengers planning to use these services, leading to inconvenience at the start of the day.
The incidents were not limited to line C-1. Medium-distance trains between Seville and Malaga also experienced disruptions. An incident involving maintenance machinery on the track affected several Commuter lines in Seville (C1, C4, and C5) and the Medium-distance routes connecting the two Andalusian capitals.
The breakdown, described as a dislodged maintenance machinery axle, forced the interruption of circulation between Seville-Santa Justa and La Salud.
