During a meeting with the Juventudes Campanillas collective, representatives from Adelante Andalucía listened to the concerns of young people regarding the inadequate public transport situation in the district. Campanillas residents face daily challenges in accessing the rest of the city, which limits their leisure and employment opportunities.

The Andalusian group recalled a previous promise to bring the metro to the PTA, which, according to their statements, has not materialized. The infrequent service of EMT bus lines 19 and 25, along with the absence of night services, forces many to depend on cars, impacting their social and professional lives.
The Andalucía Technology Park (Málaga TechPark), located near Campanillas, employs approximately 25,000 people. Despite its economic importance, its primary public transport connection remains the bus, underscoring the urgency of a metro solution.

Adelante Andalucía has reaffirmed its commitment to this project, arguing that public transport should prioritize territorial connection and equal opportunities for all citizens, beyond economic profitability. The group assures that, with their support, the metro will reach these important areas of Málaga.
