The president of the Provincial Council of Malaga, Francisco Salado, accompanied by the president of the CPB Malaga, Manuel Marmolejo, visited the ongoing works. Currently, the exterior enclosures of the building are being installed, consisting of lacquered galvanized steel profiled sheets. Subsequently, a glass curtain wall with louvers for solar protection and energy saving will be installed on the facade.
The new fire station will be built on a single floor spread across two platform levels. The lower platform will house the fire station itself, including a service tower. It will feature a living/dining room, a gym, offices, bedrooms, changing rooms, restrooms, and a locker area for personal protective equipment. The garage area will also include storage rooms, a cistern area, and a filling station for self-contained breathing apparatus.
The upper platform will accommodate the administrative area of the Consortium's headquarters and the emergency control center. This center will have a control room, offices, and changing rooms for staff. All emergency calls will be received here, and from this point, the dispatch and monitoring of the CPB's fire stations will be managed.
