This award, with a long history within the Brotherhood, is given personally to Cuñado de Azcárate, acknowledging her professional excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, personal qualities, and closeness.
Born in Madrid and based in Jerez, María Luisa Cuñado de Azcárate founded Grupo Kaizen Hoteles in 2016. This firm has developed unique hotel projects in the Andalusian luxury sector, including Hotel La Malvasía in El Rocío, Casa Palacio María Luisa in Jerez de la Frontera (the city's first five-star Gran Lujo hotel), and Casa Palacio Don Ramón in Seville.
The Brotherhood's statement highlights her sincere affection, availability, and her approach to service with discretion and closeness, contributing generosity and love for the Queen of Transport.
The Order of the Golden Steering Wheel of San Cristóbal annually recognizes relevant individuals, entities, and institutions for their values and social contribution. The decision to award it to Cuñado de Azcárate was unanimous, acknowledging her constant work, dedication, and commitment.
