The province of Granada is gearing up for the 2026 Andalusian elections, where 16 political parties will present their candidacies on May 17, featuring significant renewals in the main party leadership.

Four years after the last call, citizens in Granada are summoned to the polls to elect their representatives to the Parliament of Andalusia. The party lists, already published in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA), show a significant renewal compared to the 2022 elections.
Among the most notable changes, the Popular Party (PP) presents Rocío Díaz as the head of its list in Granada, succeeding Marifrán Carazo. For its part, the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) has appointed Olga Manzano to lead its candidacy, taking over from Noel López. In Adelante Andalucía, Inmaculada Manzano heads the list instead of Ana Villaverde, while Rafael Sánchez does the same for Por Andalucía, replacing Alejandra Durán. Vox will feature Beatriz Sánchez at the forefront of its Granada list.
One of the novelties of these elections is the absence of Ciudadanos, which in 2022 was led by Concha Insúa. In its place, the formation Se Acabó La Fiesta (SALF) emerges, led by Alvise, whose list in Granada will be headed by Rosa Alonso.
In addition to the aforementioned parties, other formations such as Nación Andaluza, Partido Comunista del Pueblo Andaluz, Escaños en Blanco, Por un Mundo Más Justo, PACMA, PCTE, Andalucistas, IZAR, FE de las JONS, and JUFUDI will also compete in these elections, totaling over 250 candidates for the province of Granada.
