This recent intervention follows a previous action a few weeks ago, during which another 3,000 kilograms of trash were collected. In total, the volunteers' efforts have resulted in the removal of nearly 9,000 kilograms of waste from the stream, particularly in the area near the Fátima neighborhood.
The participants in these cleanup days have taken the opportunity to call on the competent administrations. Their goal is for measures to be taken to improve the stream's surroundings in the Parque de Levante area.
They demand that machinery be used to remove the mud and that the construction of the footbridge connecting Arcos de la Frontera street with Parque de Levante be completed, ensuring it is fully accessible.
The specific request includes the use of machinery for removing accumulated mud and the completion of a footbridge. This structure is crucial for connecting Arcos de la Frontera Street with Parque de Levante, thereby ensuring full accessibility to the area.
