The mayor of Pozoblanco, Santiago Cabello, held an institutional meeting with the president of the Córdoba Automobile Club and head of the Rally Sierra Morena, Manuel Muñoz, to reinforce the collaboration between the town in Los Pedroches and the prestigious motorsport event.
As a result of this partnership, the City Council has officially confirmed that Pozoblanco will once again be part of the challenging route of the 44th Rally Sierra Morena. This solidifies the municipality's position as an essential point in the calendar of the European Rally Championship (FIA ERC), promoting the town's image internationally.
Mayor Santiago Cabello expressed his satisfaction with the agreement: «For Pozoblanco, it is a genuine pride to remain linked to the highest level of European motorsport. Hosting an event of the magnitude of the Rally Sierra Morena not only places us on the international sports map but also represents a fundamental economic and tourist boost for our municipality and the entire region».
