This municipal initiative seeks to provide financial support to Pozoblanco families facing expenses at the start of the school year and promote equal opportunities from the earliest educational stages. The measure aims to cover the purchase of materials not included in other free programs or scholarships.
The mayor of Pozoblanco, Santiago Cabello, highlighted that the call "continues to place municipal resources directly at the service of families and the education of our children." He noted that the council wishes to support households facing additional financial strain in September with concrete measures.
Cabello added that "investing in education and supporting families is directly investing in the future of Pozoblanco." He explained that the call also stimulates local commerce, ensuring municipal resources benefit the city's businesses. He encouraged families to consult the bases and annexes for details on the procedure and payment methods.
For her part, the Councilor for Families, Lola García, stated that this aid "helps alleviate some of the expenses associated with the start of the school year and, at the same time, reinforces the municipal commitment to equal opportunities." She emphasized the goal of facilitating access to this support and accompanying families during a crucial stage for their children's development and education.
The call maintains electronic processing through the Electronic Headquarters of the Pozoblanco City Council. The bases and annexes will be available on the Edict Board, and applications can be submitted via the electronic headquarters' procedures section. The deadline to apply for the aid is October 4th.
