In an event organized by the Brotherhood and Cofraternity of Our Lady of the Star Crowned, the doors of the Hermitage were opened for the residents of Villa del Río to see their patron saint, ready for one of the most anticipated moments of the festivities.
Numerous devotees welcomed the Virgin of the Star with cheers and songs, creating moments of great emotion at the Hermitage gates. The care and dedication of the attendants were key in preparing the image.
During the event, the traditional waving of flags in honor of Our Lady of the Star Crowned also took place in the atrium, adding to a particularly emotional morning for the town.
Everything is set for Villa del Río to accompany its patron saint this afternoon in her Bajada to the Parish Church of the Immaculate Conception, a significant date in the festive calendar.
The scheduled times are: departure of the procession from the Parish Church towards the Sanctuary at 7:15 PM, and the Bajada of Our Lady of the Star Crowned at 8:00 PM.
