The blaze began around 3:00 PM in the Dehesa de las Alcantarillas area, located on the Mármol road towards Monterrubio de la Serena. The rapid progression of the flames has caused concern due to the proximity of several homes and a factory.
Guardia Civil officers, firefighters from the Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo station, and resources from the Infoca plan have been dispatched to the scene. These teams are currently engaged in controlling and extinguishing the fire to prevent further spread.
