The Provincial Council of Granada has allocated 44,470 euros to the asphalting of the municipal road connecting Gobernador with its hamlet of Delgadillo. This project aims to enhance the safety and accessibility of this route, which is crucial for local residents and farmers.
The first Vice-President of the provincial institution, Mónica Castillo de la Rica, and the second Vice-President, María Vera, visited the municipality and inspected the results of the intervention. They were accompanied by the town's mayor, Patrocinio Ruano.
Castillo de la Rica emphasized that these investments reflect the Council's commitment to territorial balance and equal opportunities, collaborating with local councils to improve citizens' quality of life. She added that efforts will continue in maintaining basic infrastructure and services.
For his part, Mayor Patrocinio Ruano expressed gratitude for the Council's support, calling the project a necessity for the municipality and highlighting the importance of collaboration in improving essential infrastructure for the daily lives of residents.
The road improvement addresses a demand from the Gobernador Town Hall and will benefit both the municipality's residents and those engaged in agricultural activities in the surrounding area.
