This Sunday, April 19, the Auditorio Ciudad de Vera will be the epicenter of the World Piano Day celebration. The event, which will run from 10 AM to 3 PM, has been organized by the film score composer and piano teacher, with the collaboration of the Spanish Keyboard Music Festival (FIMTE).
The program includes a conference at 12 PM in the assembly hall, titled The Piano Revolution: From 58 to 88 Keys. This will be delivered by a Doctor in Musicology and professor of Music History at the UOC-UDL and at the FIMTE-Garrucha Music Studies Center. Later, at 1 PM, the public can enjoy live music with the participation of several pianists who will perform pieces from various genres, from jazz to rock and romance.
In addition to the performances, various workshops have been scheduled. These include an educational music workshop from 10 AM to 3 PM with fun activities such as puzzles and face painting. More specific workshops will also be offered, such as Vibration and Emotion at 11 AM, which will include relaxation with quartz bowls, and the Neurography Applied to Music workshop at 1 PM.
The day will begin at 10 AM with the opening of doors and a special performance called Vivaldi's Pianada Primavera, performed by the students of the event organizer. Subsequently, students from the CEMF of the professor giving the conference will also participate.
