Throughout July, participants enjoyed creative workshops, games, educational, and sports activities designed to foster learning, community, and summer fun.
A notable new feature this year was the launch of Mojácar's first Inclusive Summer School. This initiative provides specialized support for children with specific needs, reinforcing the municipal commitment to equal opportunities and accessible leisure for all.
The mayor of Mojácar, Francisco García Cerdá, emphasized that "The Summer School and Summer Sports have become fundamental services for the families in our municipality. Besides offering children a summer full of enriching experiences, they help facilitate work-life balance during these months."
The programs will continue into August with new activities, tailored to families' needs and aimed at providing an active and educational summer.
The Summer School activities are supported by the Summer Schools Program of the Provincial Council of Almería and the Plan Corresponsables grant. The Summer Sports program is funded by the Regional Ministry of Employment, Business, and Self-Employment of the Junta de Andalucía, through a grant for work-life balance.
Through these initiatives, the Mojácar City Council reaffirms its dedication to offering quality educational and sports leisure alternatives, simultaneously promoting family conciliation and inclusion as core pillars of its municipal action.
