The Novenas in honor of Our Lady of Fuensanta have concluded in Villanueva del Arzobispo, marking the end of a nine-evening spiritual journey filled with faith, devotion, tradition, and community around the Patroness.
These days served as a gathering point for the town, centered on a devotion integral to the local history and identity. Our Lady of Fuensanta Coronada, also known as the Queen of the Olive Grove, was the focus of Eucharist and prayer.
Prayers were offered for the needs of the local Church, including the sick, children, youth, families, Christian educators, and confraternities. Each day featured the active participation of the town's various confraternities, who prepared the daily liturgy, demonstrating how faith is strengthened in community.
Gratitude was expressed to the Religious Sisters of Christ the King for their accompaniment in reciting the Holy Rosary, and to the priests who preached the Novena, reinforcing faith and love for the Virgin.
Special recognition was given to the Confraternity of the Most Holy Virgin of Fuensanta for their dedication and effort in attending to every detail, making these days a true expression of love and faith. Although the Novena ends, the spiritual journey continues, with the certainty of Mary of Fuensanta's ongoing presence.
