The event will kick off on Friday, June 5th, at the Palacio Don Luis de la Cueva with participant reception and the first poetic recital of the festival. The organization has extended a special invitation to the citizens of Úbeda to join this opening day.
The main day, Saturday, June 6th, will take place at the Archaeological Museum. Attendees can participate in literary workshops, poetry creation sessions, and an introduction to haiku, led by the Asociación Cultural Yume. Works created during these activities will later be exhibited at the museum. In the afternoon, the company Atlante will offer a theatricalized tour of the historic center, combining poetry, history, and heritage.
The close relationship between poetry, humanistic culture, and the historical legacy represented by this monument.
The gathering will conclude on Sunday at the Sacra Capilla del Salvador with a closing ceremony. As highlighted by Isabel Rezmo, this conclusion underscores the close relationship between poetry, humanistic culture, and the historical legacy represented by this monument.
Among the new features for this edition is the inclusion of young creators, an objective the organization has pursued for years. Activities linked to Eastern literature and haiku are also incorporated, alongside conferences and literary encounters.
The Councilor for Culture, Elena Rodríguez, emphasized the economic and tourist impact of the festival. She noted that over the three days, participants will stay in Úbeda, visit its heritage sites, and contribute to revitalizing local commercial activity.
