Hotels and aparthotels of the highest category in Novo Sancti Petri and La Loma recorded stable occupancy figures, confirming the strength of tourist demand at the start of the high season. Specifically, the five five-star establishments achieved an average of 70.8%, while the ten four-star hotels exceeded 82.76%.
Three-star establishments also saw a slight increase, with an average occupancy of 67.13%, and two-star establishments reached 60.66%. These figures come just before the summer, a key period for the municipality, which concentrates the largest volume of visitors.
The Municipal Delegation of Sustainable Tourism is optimistic for the coming months, expecting to maintain the positive trend and the record figures achieved last year. The Novo Sancti Petri area is a fundamental economic driver for tourism in the province of Cadiz.
The Tourist Information Office in the city center handled 1,284 inquiries in May, with the most frequent being related to city maps and guides (833), followed by inquiries about culture and leisure (90) and the province (87).
