The complaint was made during a visit to the center's facilities, where socialist representatives from the region, including the mayor of Vejer, voiced their concerns. This action is part of a series of visits to health centers in the province, aimed at assessing the state of public healthcare in various municipalities.
According to the party, the deficiencies in the operation of the HARE of Vejer not only affect patients but also healthcare professionals. The limitation of specialized staff restricts the hospital's activity, leading to the referral of patients to other centers such as the Hospital de Puerto Real, increasing the care pressure in the province's emergency services.
“"The HARE of Vejer shows deficiencies in its operation that affect both users and healthcare professionals. The lack of specialized personnel limits the center's activity, which impacts healthcare in the region."
In addition to the hospital's situation, socialist representatives addressed other public service issues, such as increased waiting times for dependency aid processing and the reduction of school units in Andalusian public education. These criticisms are made in the pre-election context, with regional elections approaching, where the PSOE advocates for strengthening public services and guaranteeing healthcare coverage in regions like La Janda.
