For nearly two weeks, the route will transform Barbate into a culinary hub, where 33 local establishments and 12 stalls located near the fishing port will present a total of 45 innovative and traditional tapas. Each tasting, which includes a tapa and a drink, will have a single price of 6 euros, inviting a journey through the flavors of the Atlantic.
Among the featured participants are Restaurante 4 Veinte with 'La perla de almadraba', Bache Padre with 'La «sacá» de atunes', and Barbatún with 'Atún y Bestia'. Other establishments such as Restaurante Casa Óscar, Casa Ridu, Bar Chotis, Restaurante El Boquerón, Taberna El Pirata, Bar El Sitio, and Restaurante El Timón will also offer their unique creations.
The gastronomic offer extends with proposals like 'Gelatún' from Espresso Love Italian Food, 'Oniguiri' from Guiri's, and 'Lingote de atún' from Tapería Hostal Barbate. The Feria stalls, for their part, will add options such as 'Va entacao' from La Barra de Rosario and 'Brisa de almadraba' from Bendito Caos, enriching the experience with a diversity of flavors and atmospheres.
The Tuna Route is an experience that blends tradition, sea, and street. A perfect plan starting from 6 euros that you can enjoy with friends or family, with the taste of the Atlantic in every bite and the atmosphere of Barbate as an essential ingredient.
Beyond gastronomy, the Tuna Route will offer a comprehensive cultural program including musical performances, showcooking sessions, wine and tuna tastings, and guided visits to the almadrabas. These activities aim to highlight the history and identity of Barbate, with Jerez as the guest city for this edition.
Attendees can participate in the 'tapaporte', a system that allows them to enter draws for prizes such as a weekend in Barbate or dinners, after completing a minimum of five tastings. This initiative encourages exploration of the route and rewards the participation of tuna enthusiasts.
