The competition, presented by the mayor Óscar Medina and the Councilor for Sports José Manuel Fernández, along with the president of the Torrox Radio Control Club, Francisco Javier Rodríguez, expects to attract participants from all over the province and Andalusia. Mayor Medina highlighted the municipality's commitment to sports diversity and encouraged attendance, describing radio control as a "spectacular and entertaining" sport.
The event will take place at the municipal facilities of La Granja, with around fifty drivers competing in the Eco 1/8, Tierra, Gas, and Truck categories. Saturday, June 20, will be dedicated to free practice starting at 10:00 AM, while on Sunday, June 21, qualifying heats, semifinals, and finals will be held from 8:00 AM until approximately 5:00 PM.
The Councilor for Sports, José Manuel Fernández, emphasized the consolidation of the Torrox circuit as a benchmark at provincial and regional levels, thanks to the work of the Torrox Radio Control Club. He also highlighted that the municipality will host more sports events during the summer and reaffirmed municipal support for the more than forty local sports clubs.

Francisco Javier Rodríguez, president of the organizing club, thanked the City Council and the Andalusian Federation of Motorsport for their collaboration, confirming that the circuit will host another provincial event on July 11 and 12, further solidifying Torrox as a key location for this sport.
