The urban redevelopment works on Torres Viejas de Macaca street in Nerja were received this morning, following the approval of the site manager, the technician from the Infrastructure Service, and the municipal auditor. The project represented a total investment of 311,392.43 euros.
The financing for this project was jointly undertaken by the Nerja City Council, contributing 55% of the total, and the Community of Owners, which assumed the remaining 45%. This initiative is part of the Specific Collaboration Agreement included in the framework agreement signed with APCUN.
The intervention has led to the renovation and improvement of the infrastructures and services of this approximately 120-meter long road. The project aims to give the street a new image and enhance the quality of life for the local residents.
The mayor, José Alberto Armijo, expressed his satisfaction with the completion of these works, highlighting that they represent the first collaborative experience between the City Council and a community of owners. This achievement is the result of the work developed with APCUN to promote the improvement and modernization of the municipality's urbanizations.
