The Malaga town will be part of the route connecting Vélez-Málaga with Peñas Blancas in Estepona, in a 210-kilometer stage with an accumulated elevation gain of 4,190 meters. The mayor, Francisco Salado, highlighted the opportunity this presents for the national and international projection of the municipality.
Salado encouraged residents to enjoy the "great cycling festival" and emphasized that Rincón de la Victoria is committed to sports and tourism promotion. The race is scheduled to enter the municipality before 12:00 PM, after starting from Vélez-Málaga at 11:50 AM.
The passage of the cycling event will involve temporary traffic restrictions between 12:00 PM and 12:40 PM. Circulation will be prohibited on Avenidas de la Axarquía, de la Torre, del Mediterráneo, Calle El Cantal, and Avenida de Málaga.
