The works will focus on the institutes IES Reyes Católicos and IES Juan de la Cierva, as well as the primary school CEIP Antonio Checa Martínez. These interventions aim to improve accessibility, conservation, and habitability of educational spaces, addressing structural issues and damage caused by recent storms.
At the IES Reyes Católicos, 210,500 euros will be allocated to renovate pavements, adapt sports courts, and improve safety. Additionally, 48,560 euros will be invested in repairing the roof to resolve humidity problems, an action stemming from damage caused by the latest storm.
Meanwhile, the IES Juan de la Cierva will receive 40,000 euros for facade repairs and exterior carpentry improvements, also affected by recent storms. At the IES Antonio Checa Martínez, located in the Torre del Mar area, 162,000.68 euros will be invested in enhancing evacuation routes, with an execution period of four months.
