The UJA, through its Vice-Rectorate for Culture and the UJA Editorial imprint, maintains its own stand on Roldán y Marín Street, the main venue for the event. From this location, the institution showcases its most recent and prominent publications, reinforcing its presence at this significant literary gathering in the province.
As part of its agenda, the University of Jaén has scheduled two book presentations. The first took place on Monday, May 11, featuring the work Agustín G. de Amezúa. Artículos periodísticos, presented by experts in the field. The second editorial event is set for Thursday, May 14, and will highlight the re-edition of a historical title from 1628, Historia de la antigua y continuada nobleza de la ciudad de Jaén, by Pedro Ordóñez de Ceballos and Bartolomé Jiménez Patón.
On Friday, May 15, students from the UJA's cultural workshops will perform Poesía en movimiento, a scenic poetry exhibition designed to bring verse closer to the public in a dynamic and contemporary way. The university's involvement extends beyond Roldán y Marín Street, with the exhibition Almanaques by Ángeles Mora, which can be visited at the Antigua Escuela de Magisterio until June 26. Additionally, the inauguration of this year's fair was enlivened by the musical performance of the BatUJAda.
