The board of directors of Real Jaén has once again promoted the 'Province Match,' a strategy designed to bring together as many fans and representatives from the municipal corporations of the capital and all towns in the province of Jaén as possible. This event, now in its second edition after a successful debut last year against UDC Torredonjimeno, seeks to strengthen the bonds between the club and the provincial community.
The general director and CEO of Real Jaén, Fran Anera, emphasized the importance of this call to action. According to Anera, the objective is to “show the people of Jaén and those from outside the enormous potential the province has when it comes together.” He stressed the need to be aware of this collective strength and to make it visible through initiatives like this.
“"We want to show the people of Jaén and those from outside the enormous potential the province has when it comes together. I believe we are not yet aware of this, and we have an obligation to practice it and make that union visible."
In the sporting arena, Anera urged fans to attend the match against Salerm Puente Genil, a crucial game that could secure three vital points to move closer to the promotion play-off spots in Group IV of Segunda Federación. The club has extended formal invitations to the mayors of all municipalities in the province, who will be officially welcomed by the board of directors and the club's ownership.
The day's program will include various activities for attendees, such as a parade of children carrying the emblems of each municipality. Additionally, a communal area will be set up where fans can enjoy typical Jaén gastronomy, including dishes like rice and migas, at reduced prices, fostering a festive and friendly atmosphere.
