The initiative, organized by the Gran Eje Merchants Association with the support of the Jaén City Council, has transformed one of the city's main commercial streets into a public gathering spot. Attendees enjoyed grilled sardines in a festive atmosphere.
During the event's opening, the councilor for UPM and Youth, José Manuel Higueras, emphasized the importance of supporting initiatives that revitalize commercial spaces. Higueras highlighted the association's and its president, Antonio Villena's, commitment to continuing proposals that make the Avenida de Andalucía a place for community interaction.
The Gran Espetada aims not only to offer a gastronomic experience but also to boost commercial activity and foster community spirit in the area.
