The urban project, covering an area of 851,000 square meters, includes the creation of 110 single-family homes and 1,403 low-rise multi-family units. During the plenary session, it was highlighted that this initiative seeks to address the shortage of residential land in the capital. The design of the buildings, which will not exceed two stories in height, aims to minimize the visual impact on the protected environment, complying with local heritage conservation regulations.
In terms of mobility, the plenary also made progress in modernizing the taxi sector. A project has been presented to unify the two existing associations into a single fleet of 127 vehicles, which will operate under a common management system and a single phone number to improve customer service.
The session also addressed the municipal economic situation, with the presentation of the 2025 budget liquidation. The government team pointed to an improvement in local finances, while opposition groups expressed doubts regarding the fulfillment of management agreements and the status of investments committed to the city.
