A total of 84 interventions have been carried out this year by the Ministry of Education, through the Andalusian Public Agency for Education (APAE). Of these actions, 28 have already been completed, 12 are under construction, and the remaining are in various stages of processing, with completion expected before the end of the year.
The works include five significant expansions, such as those at the CEIP Antonio Machado in Peal de Becerro and the IES Antonio de Mendoza in Alcalá la Real, both currently under construction. Additionally, contracts are being finalized for the creation of spaces for vocational training at the IES San Felipe Neri in Martos.
Renovations, improvements, and modernizations have largely been driven by the urgent need to repair damage caused by storms earlier in the year. Concurrently, efforts to enhance the accessibility of educational buildings by removing barriers have continued. A total of 79 renovation projects in the Jaén province are scheduled for completion this year.
These initiatives are part of the educational infrastructure plans of the Ministry of Education, executed by the Andalusian Public Agency for Education.
