The notification, received through the Coordinated System for Rapid Information Exchange (SCIRI) from the health authorities of the Valencian Community, urges verification of the withdrawal of affected batches from sales channels. The objective is to prevent health risks for consumers, especially those with mustard allergies.
The specific product under alert is TRIA brand 'angel hair' pasta (cheveux d’ange), packaged in plastic bags. The identifying details of the affected batch are: L10/2025SHN, with a best-before date of 16/10/27, and a unit weight of 500 grams. It is sold at ambient temperature.
The distribution of this product has been confirmed in Andalusia, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, Murcia, and the Basque Country. Aesan does not rule out that redistribution may have reached other autonomous communities beyond the five initially identified.
As a precautionary measure, the agency recommends that individuals with mustard allergies who have this product in their homes refrain from consuming it. Aesan emphasizes, however, that consuming this pasta poses no risk to the general population without this specific allergy.
