The event, organized by the Association of Technology Teachers of Andalusia (APTA) and sponsored by the Provincial Council of Jaén, unites representatives from technology companies and students from 85 educational centers throughout the autonomous community.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy of Electronic Government and Internal Affairs, Inés Arco; the Deputy of Employment and Business, Luis Miguel Carmona; the Councilor for Education of the Jaén City Council, Eva Funes; and the manager of the IMEFE, José María Mesbailer. Carmona highlighted the nearly 200 projects on display, focusing on technology, innovation, science, robotics, and artificial intelligence, emphasizing FANTEC's role as a platform for educational development and knowledge transfer.
The day featured competitions in robotics and concrete challenges, workshops led by the University of Jaén and INTA, and talks on Dual Vocational Training, the Technological Centre for Metal Mechanics and Transport, and technology applied to the defense industry. Technological Vocational Training centers also participated to showcase training options in the industrial and digital fields to students.

Councilor Eva Funes underscored FANTEC's importance in fostering innovation and youth talent, stating that students committed to technology, design, and engineering represent the future.
