The Professional Union of Jaén has officially announced Diego Galiano Bellón as its new president, heading a Board of Directors that has reduced its membership to enhance efficiency and the representation of various professional associations in the province.
The organization, which brings together 34 professional associations in the province, is embarking on a phase of internal reorganization and strengthening its representative capacity. This restructuring includes reducing the Board of Directors to eight members, a strategic move to improve the body's operational effectiveness.
The composition of the new Board of Directors ensures the presence of all professional sectors. Diego Galiano Bellón, from the College of Real Estate Agents (API), assumes the presidency. He is joined by María Nieves Arroyo Torres, from the College of Physicians, as first vice-president; Ignacio Torres Sagaz, from the College of Lawyers, as second vice-president; José Luis Rodríguez Morillas, from the College of Social Graduates, as secretary; and Sergio Berrios Mesa, from the College of Economists, as treasurer.
The board members for this new stage are Soledad González Gómez, from the College of Architects; Ramón Luis Carpena Morales, from the College of Civil Engineers; and Macarena Humanes Galván, from the College of Psychology.
President Galiano expressed his satisfaction with the electoral process, highlighting the high participation of 73%, with 25 voters out of the 34 members on the census.
