The operation was launched after investigators received reports of an individual staying at a hotel in the city who was allegedly in possession of a significant amount of drugs and cash.
Following a surveillance operation, agents from the Narcotics Group of the Jaén Provincial Police Station located and detained the suspect in the vicinity of the establishment.
During the subsequent search of the room, officers discovered the drugs, which were distributed in various hiding spots, including the room's safe. Authorities stated that the substance was prepared for distribution and sale.
The detainee, along with the seized substance and the police reports, has been handed over to the judicial authorities to proceed with the legal case.
