The meteorological alert will be in effect until 8:00 PM, primarily affecting the regions of Cazorla and Segura, as well as the capital, Jaén, and its surrounding mountains. Intense rainfall and strong wind gusts are expected.
In the provincial capital, the probability of rain will reach 85% between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, decreasing to 40% by night. Temperatures will range from a minimum of 19 degrees to a maximum of 32 degrees.
In the Cazorla area, the forecast is even wetter, with a 95% chance of rain in the afternoon and a 70% chance in the late hours of the day. Temperatures will remain similar, with lows of 19 and highs of 32 degrees.
Municipalities in the province, still mindful of the consequences of a rainy winter, have issued cautionary messages. The Valdepeñas de Jaén City Council, for instance, has urged prudence on its social media channels and advised consulting Aemet's warnings.
