Rodríguez, 51 years old, is a native and resident of Andújar, where he works as a civil servant for the City Council in the Promotion and Training department. He also holds a degree in Technical Engineering in Management Informatics, combining a solid administrative and technical background with a strong social commitment.
In recent years, Antonio Jesús Rodríguez has chaired the Stop Biogás Andalucía platform, actively participating in opposition to various biogas and biomethane plant projects. His work has focused particularly on the province of Jaén, where these initiatives have generated significant debate due to their potential impact on public health and quality of life.
“"He represents the kind of useful Andalusianism our land needs today."
The Andalucistas-Pueblo Andaluz coalition stresses the importance of Jaén province actively participating in decisions affecting its development. They advocate for greater involvement of municipalities, residents, and productive sectors in the planning of high-impact territorial projects, such as those related to large-scale biogas and biomethane facilities.
The Andalucista candidacy for Jaén will also address persistent structural problems in the province, including the historical deficit of infrastructure, lack of connectivity, difficulty in attracting investment, and the progressive loss of young population. The party seeks economic development based on planning, sustainability, and the well-being of the population.
