The province of Jaén will be the most affected, with orange-level warnings in the Morena y Condado and Valle del Guadalquivir regions, where maximum temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius are expected. Other areas of Jaén, such as Cazorla y Segura and Capital y Montes, will be on yellow alert, with local highs of 38 and 40 degrees respectively.
In Córdoba, the Sierra y Pedroches, Campiña, and Subbética regions will face maximums of up to 39 degrees Celsius, potentially reaching 40 degrees locally. In Granada, the Cuenca del Genil will also record similar highs. The Campiña sevillana expects a yellow alert with maximum temperatures of 39 degrees Celsius.
The heat warnings will be in effect between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM in all affected areas. Generally, skies are expected to be mostly clear or with few clouds across Andalusia, with possible intervals of low clouds and mist along the coast. Minimum temperatures will remain stable, while maximums are expected to rise in most of the community, except in the Poniente almeriense.
Winds will be light and variable, tending towards the southwest on the Atlantic coast during the afternoon.
