The cultural series "Las Noches del 1900" at Bar 1900 in Huelva continues its program with the notable presence of the writer from Jaén, Mar Moreno. The author will present her latest novel, Dicen que te quise tanto, a work that won the Andalucía Critics' Award in 2024. The event will take place this Wednesday, April 15, at 7:30 PM in the central establishment on Garci Fernández Street, known as a cultural landmark in the capital of Huelva.
“"Mar Moreno's work, Dicen que te quise tanto, addresses rebellion and the courage to be happy, a theme that will resonate with attendees."
Alongside Mar Moreno, the writer from Huelva, Ramón Martínez Martín, will also present his second book, Autorretrato, a poetry collection published by Centinela Editorial. This collection of intimate and emotional poems reflects the author's deep love for poetry and explores the most hidden feelings of the human being, offering an accessible and engaging read.
Mar Moreno's literary career includes other titles such as De violetas y rosas (Endymion, 2024), an illustrated poetry collection that earned her the Ana María Hidalgo Poetry Prize, and Nunca sabes quién llama (Berenice, Almuzara, 2021), winner of the IV Icue Negro and finalist for the Cubelles Noir Crime Novel Award. Born in La Carolina, Jaén, in 1962, María del Mar Moreno Ruiz held various political positions before dedicating herself fully to writing and her profession as a jurist since 2017.
