A new political party, Huelva Existe, is running in the Andalusian elections with the goal of giving voice to the historical demands of the province in the Parliament of Andalusia.
The lead candidate for Huelva Existe, a coalition comprising Mesa de la Ría and Amor por Huelva, has pledged to fight for the province's long-standing demands. The party is confident in surpassing the results achieved by other provincial candidacies in previous regional elections, asserting that their project has a long-term vision.
“
"I have always been a political entity, but I have always been there through the platforms created to fight for Huelva. My struggle for the province is quite extensive; I define myself as a person born to fight."
Among Huelva Existe's priorities are the opening of the Western Coast Hospital, as well as the completion of the hospital centers in Aracena and El Condado. In healthcare, they also propose a pact for public Andalusian healthcare to strengthen the system, reduce waiting times for medical appointments and specialist consultations, and improve working conditions for professionals.
The party also emphasizes the defense of children with special educational needs and the promotion of public housing to facilitate youth emancipation. Furthermore, they commit to campaigning for improved infrastructure, including the railway network and the condition of roads in the province.
“
"We have no ideological red lines because we prioritize Huelva above all else. If we had a decisive deputy for the Government, what we would put on the table are Huelva's needs in health, education, and housing."
Despite the challenges faced by provincial parties, Huelva Existe trusts in its message, which seeks to transcend left and right ideologies to focus exclusively on the interests of Huelva. The coalition was formed quickly, merging programs and creating gender-balanced lists for the elections.
