Anticipation for the match between Atlético Antoniano and Recreativo de Huelva has exceeded all expectations, with the scarce 50 tickets sent by the local club for visiting fans selling out in just a few hours. This game, considered a final for the Huelva team in their fight for promotion to Primera Federación, has mobilized their supporters in an extraordinary way.
Since Wednesday night, numerous fans gathered near the ticket sales point, some even from 8:00 PM, to secure one of the coveted spots. The wait extended throughout the early morning, with groups of supporters organizing themselves to keep track of arrivals and maintain order.
“"There was a guy who had been there since 8:00 PM, but 10 or 12 of us arrived around 12:00 AM or 1:00 AM and stayed there. Around 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM, more people started arriving, but in drips and drabs, and there were already about 25 of us there."
The dedication of the fans was such that many chose to sleep in chairs or on the nearby grass, awaiting the opening of the ticket offices. The arrival of more people intensified from 8:00 AM on Thursday, until the quota of 50 tickets was filled, leaving many others without the chance to attend the match.
The club, through its social media channels, thanked its fans for their unconditional support, aware of the effort made by those who will travel to Lebrija. Despite the small number of attendees, the team is expected to feel the encouragement of its loyal supporters in this crucial match for their promotion aspirations.
