The territorial delegate for Employment, Business, and Self-Employment, Juan Carlos Duarte, recently visited the Huelva H2 and Home Care Assistance Employment and Training programs. These initiatives, driven by the Huelva City Council, have enabled the professional training of 15 unemployed young people under 30, through an alternating training contract in welding, and another 15 unemployed individuals over 45 in the socio-health sector. All of them have received their accredited diplomas for obtaining professional certificates.
The student workers of Huelva H2 have obtained certifications in Basic Communication Operations (Level 1, 190 hours) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding and Tig (Level 2, 640 hours). Meanwhile, the students of Home Care Assistance have completed two professional certificates in Socio-health Care for People at Home (Levels 1 and 2) and a Level 1 training program, totaling 810 teaching hours.
“"The high performance achieved by the students, the high level of involvement and personal disposition in each of the organized actions, demonstrating at all times their eagerness to learn."
During his visit, Juan Carlos Duarte, accompanied by the mayor of Huelva, Pilar Miranda, and members of the municipal corporation, congratulated the students and the management and teaching teams for their demonstrated effort and dedication.
Both 12-month training programs are in their final stages. The Huelva H2 program, which will conclude on May 15, is currently focused on repairing public utility facilities and maintaining urban safety elements. The Home Care Assistance program, scheduled to finish on June 16, is collaborating with the Social Services of the Huelva City Council, providing care to people in situations of dependency or vulnerability.
