The event was attended by María Ángeles Sánchez, director of the Atlantic Copper Foundation, who expressed her satisfaction with the participation of the young female footballers. Sánchez encouraged the girls to continue in sports and reiterated the foundation's support for the first team in their pursuit of promotion to the Primera Federación Femenina.
“"It is a joy to see so many girls playing football. We encourage them to continue in sports and support the first team in this decisive stretch of the season to achieve play-off qualification and the longed-for promotion."
For her part, Manuela Romero, president of Sporting Huelva, thanked the Atlantic Copper Foundation for its commitment, highlighting its involvement in sports, culture, and education. Romero expressed her wish for this collaboration to continue and strengthen in the coming years.
During the day, first-team players Paula Albarrán and Eva Cintado shared their personal experiences, inspiring the younger players with their journeys from the lower categories to the first team. Additionally, Sonia Baena and Andrea López gave a talk on sports nutrition, covering key aspects of pre- and post-match eating and answering questions.
The gathering concluded with a healthy snack in a relaxed atmosphere that fostered stronger bonds among all participants. This activity is part of the Atlantic Copper Foundation's collaboration, which will sponsor the first team's match this Sunday against Córdoba CF at 12:00 at the Antonio Toledo Sánchez Stadium. This match is crucial for Fundación Cajasol Sporting de Huelva, as they aim to secure second place, which grants access to the promotion play-offs, following Granada CF 'B's draw.
The club also extended its gratitude to AD Pérez Cubillas for providing their facilities for this enriching event.
