The rail connection between the province of Huelva and the Sevillian town of Benacazón experienced another interruption early this morning. According to Adif, the service suspension is due to a lack of tension in the overhead line, which prevented trains from continuing their journey.
In response, an alternative road transport plan has been implemented. The aim is to ensure mobility for passengers affected by this incident traveling between Huelva and Seville. Adif has stated that technical teams are already working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
This incident adds to a series of rail failures that have occurred this week. Last Thursday, the Madrid-Seville AVE service also experienced delays due to a signaling system malfunction. The day before, the connection between Madrid and Andalusia was significantly delayed because of a cable theft between Urda and Malagón, in Castilla-La Mancha.
