Thursday began with the formation of showers on the coast, which will gradually move inland. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) confirmed a 100% chance of rain until midday, especially in the western half of the province.
Despite the lack of direct sunlight, temperatures will remain warm, reaching highs of 27°C and lows of 11°C. Winds will be light from the west, offering little relief from the muggy sensation associated with the calima.
On Friday, cloudiness will continue to be predominant, with weak precipitation less likely in the coastal area. A slight thermal shift is expected, with minimums rising to 12°C and maximums dropping to 24°C.
For Saturday, instability will shift inland, affecting the Sierra, Andévalo, and Cuenca Minera, with a 75% chance of rain between 12:00 and 18:00. Locally moderate showers accompanied by thunderstorms are not ruled out. Temperatures will rise slightly again to 26°C.
Sunday is expected to bring a partial respite, with cloudy intervals and scattered showers, though with a low probability. It will be a warmer day, with the mercury climbing to 28°C, driven by easterly winds.
Looking ahead to next week, a notable thermal rebound is anticipated. On Monday, temperatures could reach 30°C with no sign of rain, a situation expected to remain stable until mid-week. However, Wednesday is forecast to bring a new drop in maximums to 26°C and the possible return of light rains.
