Massive concentration in Huelva's Plaza de la Constitución in support of Ceuta, with Spanish flags and chants.

A large concentration took place in Huelva's Plaza de la Constitución, gathering between 6,500 and over 8,000 people to show their support for Ceuta.

The event, promoted by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) on the occasion of Ceuta's Day, brought together thousands of citizens in the Huelva capital. Attendance estimates ranged from the 6,500 participants calculated by the National Police to over 8,000 people reported by the City Council.
The mayor of Huelva, Pilar Miranda, and the Andalusian Minister of Social Services, Families and Equality, Loles López, were present at the ceremony. Miranda emphasized institutional unity and conveyed the capital's support to the people of Ceuta, while López stated that Ceuta 'is not alone' and demanded action from the central government to restore normality to the autonomous city.
The event was characterized by the presence of Spanish flags, applause, and chants of support for Ceuta. However, brief moments of tension were recorded due to slogans against immigration and the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, as well as shouts related to the irregular entry of migrants during the reading of the manifesto.
This mobilization was replicated in numerous municipalities across the province. According to reports, the 32 town councils administered by the Popular Party organized similar concentrations. Eight socialist councils also promoted calls, despite an internal party directive. Another 17 municipalities governed by the PSOE opted to issue statements of support, and towns such as Bonares, Minas de Riotinto, and Santa Olalla del Cala held their own events.
