With the school holidays just around the corner and high temperatures already settled in the province, Lepe is preparing to celebrate the Water Festival, an initiative designed for children and young people to enjoy. The event will take place this Thursday starting at 6:00 PM in the Plaza de España, which will be transformed into a large outdoor leisure space.
Following the positive reception of previous editions, the Lepe City Council is once again backing this activity that symbolically marks the start of summer and the end of the school year, offering a free entertainment option for families.
Among the featured attractions are a large slip 'n' slide installed on Manuel Vela street, several inflatable water structures with ramps and slides, and a spectacular foam cannon that promises to be one of the day's highlights.
The activity was presented earlier this week by the Councilor for Youth, Aurelio Madrigal, and is carried out in collaboration with the specialized company Hinchables Diverwilkin.
To participate, attendees only need to come in swimwear and bring their own float, as access to all activities will be completely free. With proposals like this, Lepe officially inaugurates the summer season, offering a refreshing experience and fostering community for young people before the summer holidays begin.
