The province of Huelva is under a yellow alert for high temperatures, with highs expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius next Saturday, according to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The province of Huelva is facing an episode of high temperatures that will trigger yellow-level warnings in several regions over the coming days. Forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) indicate a progressive increase in temperatures.
This Thursday, the yellow heat warning is active in the regions of El Andévalo, El Condado, and Sierra de Aracena, particularly between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Today's predicted highs in these areas will be around 38 degrees Celsius. Skies will remain mostly clear, except on the coast where low clouds and morning mist are expected.
For Friday, a slight intensification of the heat is expected, with highs rising to 39 degrees Celsius in the same inland regions. This increase will be more noticeable in the southern part of the province.
Saturday is anticipated to be the most critical day, with the yellow warning active until 8:00 PM due to the possibility of reaching up to 42 degrees Celsius in specific areas of El Andévalo. Mostly clear skies are expected, with morning mist on the coast and possible daytime cloud development in the eastern inland mountains, which could be accompanied by occasional storms and suspended dust.
From Sunday onwards, thermal relief will begin, with maximum temperatures dropping to 38 degrees Celsius. The weather trend for Monday and Tuesday confirms a decrease in temperatures, placing them around 34 degrees Celsius, which are more typical values for this time of year.
