The province of Huelva concluded this Tuesday under a yellow alert for high temperatures, with thermometers approaching 40 degrees Celsius. The municipality of El Granado became the hottest spot, reaching a maximum of 38.9 degrees at 2:40 PM.
Other towns followed closely, such as El Cerro de Andévalo with 38.1 degrees, and Villarrasa, which experienced a high of 37.8 degrees. In El Campillo, temperatures reached 36.8 degrees, while at the Cala weather station, thermometers marked 36.7 degrees, and Alosno recorded 36.1 degrees. The provincial capital, Huelva, had a high of 35 degrees.
Other locations like Ayamonte and Cartaya registered highs of 32.5 degrees. Exceptionally, in Moguer, temperatures remained below thirty, with 29.9 degrees recorded by 8:10 PM. Data from the Aroche station was not issued.
A small respite is expected for this Wednesday, with no alerts and highs of up to 35 degrees despite cloudy skies. However, the yellow alert for high temperatures will return on Thursday in the areas of Aracena, Andévalo, and Condado, where highs of 38 degrees are forecast.
