Municipal Services including Local Police, Emtusa, Infrastructure, and Public Services will facilitate access and ensure normalcy during the traditional route of the Virgen de La Cinta, which will take place in the early hours of Sunday, August 23. The procession will commence after the Dawn Mass, scheduled for 6:00 AM, and will depart from the Sanctuary of El Conquero towards the Cathedral of La Merced.
The Brotherhood has opted for the usual itinerary, crossing El Conquero and Manuel Siurot Avenue. The departure is scheduled for 6:30 AM, with an expected arrival at the Cathedral around 11:30 AM. During the journey, the Rosary of the Dawn will be recited, with the Glorious Mysteries. The Bishop of Huelva will receive the Virgin in front of the Bishopric.
Local Police will accompany the Brotherhood throughout the route, ensuring security and managing punctual traffic diversions, particularly along Manuel Siurot Avenue and adjacent streets. Minimal disruptions are anticipated due to it being a Sunday morning and early hours.
To facilitate attendance, Emtusa will offer special services from the central Zafra stop at 5:30, 5:50, 6:10, and 6:30 AM. The special ticket price will be 1.50 euros.
The religious services program will begin on Saturday, August 22, with the Evening Mass and the imposition of medals. The Novena will be held from August 28 to September 5 at the Cathedral. The Floral Offering will take place on September 6, and a solemn procession through the streets around the cathedral temple on September 7. The festivities will culminate on September 8 with the Solemn High Mass and the Ascent Procession.
The procession will also serve to inaugurate the new lighting in the Sanctuary area, with the renovation of luminaires in Plaza de los Capellanes. Additionally, pruning, sidewalk repairs, and cleaning have been carried out along the route.
