The first event of this circuit, organized by the Huelva Destination Agency and the Golf Course Association, took place at La Roca Golf facilities, gathering a hundred players. This action is part of the Golf Segment Promotion Action Plan, presented last March in Nuevo Portil.
Participants in this inaugural event received detailed information about the golf offerings in the province of Huelva, as well as exclusive promotions from golf courses and specialized hotel establishments. The organization provided each player with a welcome bag containing promotional material for the destination, highlighting the region's rich tourism and sports opportunities.
The circuit will continue its journey in the coming months, with scheduled stops in cities such as Valladolid, Porto, Lisbon, Pontevedra, Bordeaux, Bilbao, Gijón, and Zaragoza. The competition, which will run until October, is expected to attract over 1,000 direct participants, also generating indirect promotional impact through collaborating clubs.
This well-established initiative not only combines sports competition with tourism promotion but also offers attendees the opportunity to sample representative products of Huelva's gastronomy and participate in raffles for stays and golf experiences in Huelva. As a novelty this year, the circuit strengthens its presence in the French market with a second event in Bordeaux, a strategic market due to its air connections with Seville and Faro.
