The official presentation of the tournament, held in the Plenary Hall, highlighted the close collaboration between various administrations to promote sports. Institutional and sports representatives emphasized the importance of this event, both for its impact on the sports field and for the social and economic benefits it will generate in the province.
“"It is also very important on the sports side that young people starting in basketball in any municipality of Huelva have the opportunity to see top-level players."
The authorities present, including the territorial delegate for Tourism, Culture and Sport of the Junta de Andalucía and the vice-president of the Andalusian Basketball Federation, agreed on highlighting the region's commitment to this sport. It was emphasized that Huelva is a province that "breathes basketball" and is prepared to host large-scale events.
“"Huelva breathes basketball, we are a basketball city and a basketball province, and we make it possible for Huelva to be filled thanks to the Andalusian Federation and the Spanish Federation."
Six Andalusian teams will participate in the competition, three in the male category (Unicaja, Fundación CB Granada, and CB Novaschool) and three in the female category (Córdoba CB, Fundación CB Granada, and Cordobasket), reflecting the excellent state of youth basketball in the community. The tournament will take place in various venues across the province, promising a significant influx of spectators and a boost for the sports, tourism, and economic promotion of the area.
With this initiative, Huelva begins the countdown to a top-tier sporting event, where young talent will be the main protagonist, solidifying the province's reputation as a benchmark in organizing sports competitions.
