The exhibition, titled Pinturas 1985-2025, offers a retrospective journey through the artist's evolution, featuring works ranging from urban and natural compositions to portraits and reflections. The exhibition will be open to the public at the Sala de la Provincia until Saturday, April 25, with visiting hours from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00, and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.

Among the displayed pieces, highlights include portraits from the series 100 Miradas, which feature well-known faces from Huelva's life and public figures, as well as anonymous individuals. Works from his Composiciones con artilugios period can also be appreciated, where everyday objects like first-aid kits, trumpets, and antique cameras adorn tabletops.

The artist's diverse geographical experiences are reflected in his compositions, which meticulously depict both urban landscapes, such as the bustling Gran Vía, and aquatic scenes, like reflections on the Amsterdam pier's water. The exhibition culminates with the Naturaleza period, where agaves and ficus take center stage against vibrant backgrounds, inspired by the natural surroundings of his studio.

The painter's style is characterized by direct observation of reality, precise drawing, and a carefully adjusted chromatic palette, earning him recognition both nationally and internationally and solidifying his position as a key figure in recent Huelva painting.

In addition to the exhibition, the city of Huelva offers other cultural events. On Saturday, April 18, the Gran Teatro will host a comedy show at 20:00, with an entrance fee of 20 euros. Furthermore, Parque Moret will be the venue for the second edition of the NaturJoven festival, a free music event for Huelva's youth starting at 13:00, featuring bands such as La Selva Sur, Ermitaño, and Dissidents.
